The Pen y Cymoedd wind farm will be located in south Wales, near the Neath Port Talbot and Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The 76-turbine wind farm will have a capacity of 228 W, corresponding to the yearly electricity need of about 140 000 households.

£400-million.

Duration
Construction of Pen y Cymoedd will start in 2014 and is expected to generate first power by the end of 2016.
