Project Description
The project involves the development of an 11-storey sectional title apartment block in the Oasis Luxury Retirement Resort at Century City. Apartments range from about 102 m2 to 263 m2 and vary from garden apartments to “homes in the sky”.
The project is the third phase of the development. The first two phases consisted of the Club House, the Care Centre and the first two blocks of apartments – Palm Grove and Palm Spring.
Palm Royale will be linked undercover to the Oasis Club, the facilities of which are also to be extended in terms of current construction plans.
The Oasis Club offers indoor and outdoor facilities and includes a 25 m indoor heated pool, a massage room, a sauna, a steam room, a fully equipped gym, a library, lounge areas, a restaurant, a bar and a billiard room. New facilities will include a hobby room and 200-seater multipurpose entertainment venue positioned over a large water body.

The project is scheduled for completion at the end of April 2014.
Latest Developments
Construction of the development has started.
The bulk earthworks and construction of a 4 m berm on Ratanga road was awarded to Baseline Civils Contractors and completed in December 2012.
Esor Franki is undertaking a R1.6-million piling contract, which was due for completion at the end of January.
The main building contract has been awarded to WBHO. This contract started in January.
