Project Description
The project involves the construction of an OSB plant in the Mogilev region of Belarus.
The OSB facility will have a production capacity of 500 000 m3/y – 300 000 m3 in Phase 1 and 200 000 m3 in Phase 2.
The plant will use up to 1.1-million cubic metres a year of round wood.

Phase 1 will start this year.
Latest Developments
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is considering a two-tranche senior loan – Tranche 1 at €65-million and Tranche 2 at €35-million – for Kronospan to finance construction of the OSB plant.
Tranche 1 of the loan will finance the construction of Phase 1 of the project, with production capacity of 300 000 m3.
