Project Description
The Onça Pintada plant will generate energy using biomass from eucalyptus stumps and roots as raw material, and will produce
about 50 MW of electrical energy for the national grid.
The project includes a biomass handling system, comprising two dumper trucks, a belt conveyor leading to a 270º stacker-reclaimer with 40 000 m3 storage capacity, and the belt conveyor to the power boiler.
