Project Description
The project will produce green hydrogen using renewable electricity from offshore wind energy.

NortH2 will have a capacity of 1 GW in 2027, 4 GW by 2030 and more than 10 GW by 2040 for electrolysis, which equates to about  400 000 t/y of green hydrogen production in 2030 and one-million tonnes a year of green hydrogen production by 2040.

This can abate eight to ten-million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
