Project Description
The project entails the rehabilitation, development and operation of the multi-use terminal at the Port of Callao, in Peru, under a 30-year concession agreement.
It will include the construction of a new container berth, the deepening of the terminal’s draft to between 14 m and 16 m, the installation of the necessary cargo handling equipment, the rehabilitation of the existing grain berth and the development of the terminal’s supporting back-up areas and infrastructure.
Value
The project is estimated at $362.7-million, to be financed with $217-million in debt financing and $145.7-million in equity and internal cash generation.
