Project Description
The Nojoli wind farm was elected as a preferred bidder in the third round of the Department of Energy’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Programme in October 2013.

It has a total installed capacity of 88 MW and will be able to generate more than 275 GWh/y, equivalent to the yearly consumption needs of about 86 000 South African households.

The wind farm will avoid the emission of more than 251 000 t/y of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
