New coalition government on the cards for drought-stricken Nelson Mandela Bay

A new coalition government is set to take over the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro.

The African Christian Democratic Party,  African Independent Congress, Abantu Integrity Movement, Democratic Alliance, Freedom Front Plus, Pan Africanist Congress, and the United Democratic Movement have agreed to forming a coalition government.

The parties met at least eight times in recent weeks to iron out a new agreement. Parties are to report back to their structures for a final mandate.
