Netshield South Africa  (0.03 MB)

New partnership will grow the availability of unique collaboration and communications technology in the region

Netshield South Africa, a Westcon-Comstor Southern Africa company, is pleased to announce that it has been appointed the distributor for leading Microwave Research and Production Company Youncta, in the Southern African region.

Youncta, a company where tradition meets innovation, was born from the union of Micran, a leading Microwave Russian Research and Production Company and a group of Italian engineers. The company has since established itself as a leader in the collaboration and communications space and provides working Point To Point microwave backhaul communication and networking solutions for businesses.

“We are extremely pleased to have been appointed the distributor for Youncta in Southern Africa,” says Inus Dreckmeyr, CEO of Netshield South Africa. “The addition of Youncta’s innovative portfolio of communication and collaboration solutions to Netshield’s product offerings will bolster our business and give our customers access to some truly exciting technology.”

Youncta was founded on a solid knowledge of microwave communication and a belief that tradition must be accompanied by other technologies like ubiquitous management, SDN, high security standards and advanced radio techniques to name a few.

“We chose Netshield South Africa as our distributor for the region because of its established name in the industry as a company that thinks differently and will go above and beyond to provide customers with products that fit their businesses. This is a partnership that is aimed at growing our business in the region and we are sure that Netshield will make that happen,” says Christo Van Rooyen, Regional Manager, Southern Africa at Youncta.

Netshield will distribute the Youncta range of products, in particular the Y-Packet, a high capacity packet full outdoor platform that has been realised to meet the requirements of WISP, ISP and corporate markets alike. It has been developed with an aim to be easy to install, interoperable with other equipment in the network and easily integrated with third party Network Management Systems at a low cost of ownership.

For more information on the full range of Youncta solutions now available through Netshield South Africa please contact Inus Dreckmeyr on 0861114428 or 012-8410320 or attend one of Netshield’s Youncta Launches to be held in Cape Town and Pretoria:
