Project Description
The project involves the development of hybrid production and supply, including a 3.9 MWp solar photovoltaic power plant and a 2.6 MWh battery.
Through the project’s energy management system, the solar farm will be fully integrated into the Nampala mine's existing thermal power plant to ensure a continuous supply of power to the mine at all times and at a lower cost.
The project will enable Robex to reduce its carbon impact by about 60 000 t over ten years.
