Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 473 km toll road between Nairobi and Mombasa.The expressway will include four lanes, with provision to increase the road to six lanes, and 19 interchanges.
The project will be completed in ten sections.
The first section, from the junction with Namanga road near Kitengela, will have an interchange near Konza ICT City and a spur road to Kyumvi on Mombasa road.

About 4 000 people will be employed in the construction of the road.
