Project Description
The scheme involves the construction of 13.6 km of new dual carriageway and 1.2 km of new or upgraded single carriageway. It will also link the N25
with the N30 New Ross to the Enniscorthy route.

Additionally, a new 900 m three-tower extradosed bridge crossing over the Barrow river, which will be the longest of its kind in the world, will be built. It
will connect Pink Point, in County Kilkenny, with Stokestown, in County Wexford.

Value
€230-million.

Duration
Construction of the N25 New Ross Bypass is expected to be completed in 2019, which will be followed by a 25-year operation and maintenance period.

Latest Developments
Mott MacDonald has been appointed technical adviser to the TII on the scheme.

The consultancy will provide design review and construction monitoring services on an ongoing basis.
