The project will replace production from the Rukodz mine, which was depleted in the 2022 financial year, and the Ngwarati and Mupfuti mines, which will be depleted in the 2025 and 2028 financial years respectively.

The Mupani mine aims to produce more than 300 000 oz of platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium and gold from the 2029 financial year.
