The 86.23 MW Mulilo Sonnedix Prieska PV project is one of the largest in Southern Africa measuring 125 ha.
The PV farm can power 40 000 homes through the Eskom grid.

The project has employed 1 720 people, of which 911 came from local communities.
Value
The project is estimated at R1.2-billion.
Duration
The project started construction on April 28, and took 14 months to complete. The project has been operational since July.

The project was officially inaugurated on October 31.
