Montage Gold proposes new directors
Canada-listed Montage, which is aiming to be a multi-asset African gold producer, has set June 7 as the date for its annual general and special meeting.
Shareholders will vote on a proposed slate of director nominees, comprising six individuals: Ron Hochstein, Richard Clark, Anu Dhir, David Field, Allessandro Bitelli and Martino De Ciccio.
If elected, Hochstein will be proposed as the chairperson of the board, replacing Peter Mitchell who is not standing for re-election.
In addition, Sasha Bukacheva and Hugh Stuart will not be standing for re-election as directors.
Montage’s flagship is the Koné project, located in Côte d’Ivoire. Based on a 2024 feasibility study, Koné ranks as one of the highest quality gold projects in Africa with a 16-year mine life, all-in sustaining cost of $998/oz over its life-of-mine, and production of more than 300 000 oz/y over the first eight years.
