Mineral and metallurgical company Mintek is seeking to appoint a service provider for the rehabilitation of the Tweefontein asbestos mine, in Limpopo.

The company is, on behalf of the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy, in the process of rehabilitating several abandoned mines around the country.

In an invitation to tender published at the weekend, Mintek noted that prospective bidders could access tender documents from its website.
