Project Description
Air Products and AES Corporation plan to build the biggest green hydrogen facility in the US, which will include about 1.4 GW of wind and solar power generation, along with electrolyser capacity capable of producing more than 200 t/d of green hydrogen.
Potential Job Creation
The project will create more than 1 300 construction and 115 permanent operations jobs, and about 200 transportation and distribution jobs.
Capital Expenditure
$4-billion.
Planned Start/End Date
The project is targeted to start commercial operations in 2027.
