Project Description
The project involves the construction of a new nominal 650 MW, combined-cycle, natural-gas-fuelled generating station.

The new generating station will comprise two combustion turbines, two heat recovery steam generators, and one steam turbine, commonly known as a 2x1 combined-cycle configuration.

Value
About $700-million.

Duration
The company expects to receive the appropriate regulatory decisions by the end of the year.

Latest Developments
KBR has been awarded a full notice to proceed (FNTP) contract from Interstate Power & Light Company for the engineering, procurement and construction of the generating station.
