Mandi Vundla: The Poetician

Mandi 'Poefficient' Vundla began performing poetry in 2006. She has since shared platforms with many accomplished poets and musicians, including Myesha Jenkins, Lebo Mashile, Phillippa Yaa De Villiers, Pops Mohamed, Napo Masheane, Afurakan and others from here and abroad. She was crowned ‘The Queen of the Word n Sound Mic 2012’ in Johannesburg’s most prestigious slam competition.
Mandi is also part of the vibrant Word n Sound poetry community, from which she has honed her skill and lyrical expertise through competitive platforms. She was also nominated for the Perfect Poem Award.
