Duration
Phase 1 will be completed by the end of 2012, with the project to be handed over to the operations and maintenance team this year.

Latest Developments
The 630 MW first phase of the London array offshore wind farm has reached full capacity.

The final turbine was commissioned on April 6. With all turbines now exporting power to the national grid, the London array is expected to produce enough green electricity to power nearly 500 000 homes year.

Turbine installation was completed in December 2012 and, since then, the project has focused on fully commissioning and putting into operation all 175 of the 3.6 MW Siemens turbines.
