Project Description
The project involves the expansion of Lwarcel Celulose’s pulp mill at Lençóis Paulista, in São Paulo. As part of the expansion, Lwarcel intends to build a new production line at the same location of the current mill.
The line will increase capacity up to 750 000 t/y; currently, the production amounts to 250 000 t/y of short-fibre pulp from eucalyptus. In addition to the new production line, the project will also increase Lwarcel’s planting area from 15 378 ha to 36 421 ha of planted eucalyptus forests.
