PERTH (miningweekly.com) – The King of the Hills (KOTH) gold mine, in Western Australia, delivered record production during March, producing 17 550 oz of gold.

ASX-listed Red 5 on Wednesday said that gold production from the mine during the March quarter reached 40 867 oz, up from the 36 260 oz of gold delivered in the December quarter, with 1.04-million tonnes of ore processed at an average head grade of 1.32 g/t gold.

Red 5 declared commercial production at KOTH in December last year.

The company has maintained its production guidance for the second half of 2023 at between 90 000 oz and 105 000 oz, at an all-in sustaining cost of between A$1 750/oz and A$1 950/oz.
