JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) –  JSE-listed Keaton Energy announced on Thursday that it had received nonbinding expressions of interest that relate to the possible acquisition of the entire issued share capital of the company, which, if successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the price at which the company’s securities trade on the JSE.

Shares in the JSE-listed company, which operates two collieries – Vanggatfontein near Delmas, in Mpumalanga and Vaalkrantz near Vryheid, in KwaZulu-Natal, gained 2.94% on Thursday to close at R1.05 a share.
