The plant will be the largest solar PV plant in Nigeria and one of the largest on the African continent. The 75 MWac output to the grid is expected to provide an estimated 1.1-million households with electricity. 

The project includes PV modules with single-axis trackers, optimising the energy yield produced by the plant.
