The project entails the expansion of sugar cane milling capacity from 120 t crushed an hour to 200 t crushed an hour.
It includes the expansion of power generation capacity from 5 MW to 16 MW, the installation of centre pivot irrigation systems on 3 600 ha of the sugar plantation and increasing sugar production from 50 000 t/y to 120 000 t/y.
