Project Description
The Juniper facility will take gas from the Corallita and Lantana fields, located about 80 km off the south-east coast of Trinidad, in water about 110 m deep.

The development will include five subsea wells and will have a production capacity of about 590-million standard cubic feet a day.

Gas from Juniper will flow to the Mahogany B hub through a new 10 km flowline.

Latest Developments
Technip has been awarded a substantial engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning (Epic) contract and a lump sum contract by BP Trinidad and Tobago for the development of the Juniper off the south-east coast of Trinidad.

The scope of work consists of design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction and load-out, as well as the mechanical completion of 4 300 short-ton topsides that can process 590-million standard cubic feet a day of gas and a6 100 short-ton jacket.

The contract will also cover the design, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, transport, installation and precommissioning of 10 inch and 8 inch internal diameter flexible flowlines; a 26 inch outside diameter, 10 km of concrete-coated rigid subsea pipeline; an extensive diving campaign to support BP’s liquefied natural gas train and field turnaround, and a large number of subsea structures and tie-in spools.

Additionally, the contract includes the transport and installation of umbilicals, trees and flying leads supplied by BP.
Technip’s operating centre, in Houston, Texas, in the US, will perform the overall design, detailed engineering and project management. Offshore installation is scheduled for the second half of 2016.
