Project Description
The project involves the construction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, in Rio de Janeiro.
In the project’s first phase, a 60 000 m2 manufacturing facility, capable of producing 24 000 vehicles a year will be built in Itatiatia. The facility is expected to employ about 400 people.
The new Discovery Sport has been confirmed as one of the vehicles that Jaguar Land Rover plans to build in Brazil.
Jaguar Land Rover has also confirmed plans to build its first overseas Education Business Partnership Centre. The centre will provide a range of classroom activities to help schoolchildren develop key skills and work awareness to inspire them to possibly pursue rewarding careers at Jaguar Land Rover.

The first vehicles are expected in 2016.
