Leading independent proxy advisory firms Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and Glass Lewis & Co have recommended that Dalradian shareholders vote in favour of a takeover by private equity mining firm Orion Mine Finance.

In terms of the transaction, announced in June, shareholders will receive C$1.47 a share for their interest in Dalradian.

The special meeting of Dalradian’s shareholders to consider the transaction will be held on August 31, in Toronto.

Dalradian’s biggest shareholder, M&G Investment Management, has previously said that it was supportive of the friendly cash takeover.

The miner has a high-grade gold project in Northern Ireland.
