Integr8 and clients demonstrate true spirit of Christmas

Company Announcement - In a world gone mad, in the midst of chaos, mayhem, destruction and strife, Integr8 took stock to see if there was something that they could do to make it just a slightly better place. Integr8 a South African-based global ICT managed services provider, decided to use funds - which would normally be used for prettily wrapped gifts to their clients – to really make a difference in the lives of the people who live at Tanweer House, Chiawelo, Soweto.
Tanweer House is a home run by three wonderful and dedicated women, housing and raising 19 orphans - abandoned and abused children - in their own home, caring for and nurturing them out of their meagre pockets, with whatever assistance they can get from the community. Integr8 hosted a Christmas party at the beginning of December to hand out gifts for the children, the helpers and grocery hampers and blankets for the organisation, as well as meals and entertainment. The children living at Tanweer House have never attended a Christmas party and it was a delight to see their faces light up and experience the giving of Christmas.
Tami Sussman, Chief Marketing Officer at Integr8, says each participating company received a certificate in recognition of their contribution, something Integr8 has done on several occasions in the past.
“We are proud to be associated with this ongoing initiative. This project is only one effort, really, but we hope it is one that makes a difference to the lives of children who have endured so much, who have experienced so much hurt and pain, yet have hope and are now loved. This is what can happen when like-minded businesses set their targets on change for the better,” says Sussman.
