Project Description
Chubu, Hazer and Chiyoda plan to prepare a project development plan for a clean hydrogen and graphitic carbon production hub.
Chubu plans to use the produced hydrogen as a fuel for power generation and other difficult-to-abate industries, as well as for mobility. The facility will have a target hydrogen production capacity of between 50 000 t/y and 100 000 t/y, to be achieved in stages. The initial hydrogen production capacity is planned to be between 2 500 t/y and 10 000 t/y.
