HAUT will be built in Amstelkwartier, a new residential neighbourhood in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, on the Amstel river between Oud-Zuid and Watergraafsmeer.

Project Description
The project involves the construction of the tallest timber tower in Amsterdam.
The 73-m-high residential tower will include 55 apartments, public plinth Hortus bicycles and an underground car park.
The building will have a total gross floor area of about 14 500 m2.
More than three-million kilograms of carbon dioxide will be stored in the cross-laminated timber used to build HAUT. Apart from the innovative use of wood in the construction, the building will also feature energy-generating facades and the wastewater it produces will be collected and purified.
