The project will connect the Port of Gwadar to the N10 Makran Coastal highway, in Pakistan.

The project is being developed under a major infrastructural plan under the frameworks of the Belt and Road and China–Pakistan Economic Corridor.

The expressway will be a two-way, 19-km-long, six-lane road, with a four-lane pavement.
