The ENGEL e-Mac 100 injection moulding machine attracted visitors to GreenTech Plastics Machinery’s stand in Hall 5 at this year’s Propak Africa Expo held in March.
GreenTech sold the machine to one of its longest serving clients in December 2021, and it was on loan for the Expo to demonstrate its capabilities. The fully operational e-Mac 100 produced toothpaste caps much to the fascination of Propak visitors, drawing interest. Sales staff was on hand to explain how the machine works and to answer questions. “The compact footprint of the e-Mac 100 combined with the fact this highly efficient electric machine operates cleanly and quietly for two out four days at the expo.” says Strategy & Operations Lead at GreenTech, Marcus Visser.
GreenTech’s objective of exhibiting at Propak was to highlight the fact that in addition to the sectors we are well known in, their renowned expertise and premium quality product adds value to the packaging industry. “To this end, we showcased our leading-brands in plastics solutions,”. comments JC Jonker who heads up GreenTech’s Sales Division.
“Alongside ENGEL, we also offer a range of WINTEC plastic injection moulding machines,” continues JC. In terms of our peripheral product portfolio, including Motan-Colortronic (dosing, blending, dryers and material feeder solutions), Tampoprint (pad printing and laser technology), and HB-THERM (temperature control units), was also represented on our stand.”
“We are pleased by the interest shown by visitors in all our product offerings as well as the leads received, both from existing as well as new customers,” affirms Marcus. “The GreenTech team is hard at work following up on these leads and we look forward to partnering with customers in providing premium quality machines. We support our product line-up with after-sales service delivered by our experienced technical team based in Gauteng (Head office), Kwa-Zulu Natal, the Eastern Cape, Western Cape as well as in Nairobi, Kenya,” he concludes.
