Project Description
The project will involve the construction of a cement plant with a nominal production capacity of two-million tons a year.
The project will include a 1 200-t/h limestone and shale impact crusher; a 125-t/h gypsum and additives crusher; covered raw materials areas; a 370-t/h raw mill and raw meal blending silos; a kiln/pyroprocessing system and a five-stage preheater with a precalcincer, designed for alternative fuels and biomass; a coal/petcoke grinding system (ball mill) and covered storage; clinker silos; two 165-t/h cement mills; four 10 000-t cement silos; and a dispatch and bagging plant.

The project will take an estimated three years to complete, starting in 2009, with completion scheduled for June 2011.
