Project Description
The project aims to produce and valorise renewable, low-carbon hydrogen at TotalEnergies’ Grandpuits zero crude platform with the construction and operation of a new 20 000 t/y hydrogen producing unit.
This unit will partly use biogas from the biorefinery and be fitted with carbon capture technology to avert emissions of about 150 000 t/y of carbon dioxide, compared with current processes.
Most of the unit’s hydrogen will be used by the biorefinery to produce sustainable aviation fuel, but it could also be used to support sustainable mobility in the Ile-de-France region.
