SKF is adding value to customers’ bearing maintenance practices with the introduction of a new dedicated questionnaire that provides free issue-specific maintenance advice. The questionnaire also gives customers the opportunity to learn more about bearing maintenance practices, to review and compare their practices with those of their peers and competitors as well as to benchmark their practices with similar companies within the same industry.

By simply highlighting and uploading details and photographs on one specific maintenance issue where expert advice is required, the SKF team will issue tailored recommendations addressing that particular problem. On completion of the 20 minute-questionnaire, the specific results will be shared by SKF in the form of a tailored maintenance maturity radar chart that can be easily downloaded.

Not only does the radar chart make it simpler for participants to identify areas for improvement, SKF experts will offer recommendations and suggestions on how to improve these identified areas. The more details that are provided, the more advice SKF is able to offer.  A SKF specialist will also be in contact to discuss the outcome as well as the opportunities in greater detail, without any expected commitments or obligations.
