Project Description
The project entails the development of Colombia’s first gas liquefaction facility and the first floating liquefaction facility in the world. The project includes the construction of an FLSU, with a liquefaction capacity of 72-million standard cubic feet a day to produce 500 000 t/y of liquefied natural gas.

The FLSU will liquefy gas produced mainly from the onshore La Creciente gasfield for export to international markets.

The project is estimated at $305-million.

The project is expected to begin commercial operations in the second quarter of 2015.
