Introducing the Rotarex FireDETEC Compact Line System

The new Rotarex FireDETEC is a complete, pre-engineered fire detection and suppression system, specifically designed to protect engine compartments from fire damage.

Compact and economical, the systems are available in 4ℓ, 7ℓ and 12ℓ capacities, suitable for vehicle engines of any size. 

In the event of an engine fire, the Compact Line system supresses the fire and avoids it reigniting, thus ensuring passenger safety and minimising damage to materials. 

Rotarex FireDETEC Compact Line System uses liquid-based extinguishing agents, with corrosion inhibitors that control the corrosion of metals. The dual-chamber technology combines the pressure chamber and extinguishing agent, making it more compact as well as easier and faster to install.

The Rotarex FireDETEC is the most compact system in the world and is able to protect up to 4M engine compartments with only 4ℓ of agent.

Patented dual-chamber cylinder technology

• The dual chamber system ensures increased safety, with the extinguishing liquid and pressurised nitrogen in separate chambers
• When activated, the pressured gas is released into the outer chamber and is forced against a piston 
• The piston pushes the liquid out through the discharge tube
• A built-in pressure regulator ensures a constant and sustained discharge
