Project Description
The project will involve the construction of a 1.2-billion-pound-a-year capacity ethylene cracker at the OxyChem plant, in Ingleside, Texas, along with pipelines and storage in Markham, Texas.
All the ethylene produced by the cracker will be used in the manufacturing of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) using existing VCM capacity. VCM will be delivered to Mexichem to produce polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and PVC piping systems.
