Project Description
The project entails the construction of a single large-scale integrated ethanol-from-sugar-cane production facility. The goal is to produce up to 235-million litres of ethanol a year. The seed cane planting on the first 70 ha has been completed.
Twenty hectares of workable land has been allocated to the project by the Mozambique government for the planting of sugar cane.

The project will cost an estimated $280-million to bring it into production.

The project is expected to be up and running by 2011.
