Project Description
The Globeleq-Sturdee consortium has been awarded preferred bidder status for two 15 MW ac solar projects in the first tranche of Eswatini’s procurement programme for new renewable-energy generation.

The 15 MW ac Balekane and 15 MW ac Ngwenya projects will be located on separate parcels of private land in the Hhohho region, and connected to the existing Eswatini Electricity Company transmission system.
