Project Description
The project involves the construction of a new wind farm facility, with total installed capacity of 90 MW.
Cristalândia will be able to generate more than 350 GWh/y, enough to meet the yearly consumption needs of more than 170 000 Brazilian households, while avoiding the emission of about 118 000 t of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
Value
Enel will invest an estimated $190-million in the construction of the project.
Duration
The wind farm is expected to enter into service in the second half of 2017.
