Barriers to accessing legal services, such as high costs driven by specialised expertise, administrative overheads and prolonged case proceedings, have led to the rise of alternative legal solutions, such as online contract platforms and fixed-fee legal services, which are said to offer more affordable and accessible options.

Using technology, these platforms aim to help individuals and businesses obtain legal documents and guidance at an affordable cost.

One such platform is Easy Contracts, which is designed to be a user-friendly online tool that provides professional, personalised legal documents at affordable prices.

The tool can be used to create legal documents using the following steps:

1. Select a desired document and register an account

2. Complete an intuitive form that guides the user through the required information

3. Pay and download the customised document

Users can also select from a range of documents, including restraint of trade agreements, letters of demand, residential lease agreements, domestic employment contracts, acknowledgments of debt, offers to purchase property or vehicles, last will and testaments, and powers of attorney.

For legal needs beyond the available templates, Easy Contracts also offers a ‘Lawyer on Tap’ service, connecting users with experienced attorneys for comprehensive legal assistance.
