The solar farm will cover about 240 ha and comprise about 320 000 solar photovoltaic panels. The solar panels will be installed on ground-mounted frames that will slowly track the daily horizontal movement of the sun.
The plant will be connected to the grid by an existing 66 kV transmission line.
