The shareholders of gold explorer Bullseye Mining have more time to accept a takeover offer from ASX-listed Emerald Resources with the closing date having been extended to November 24.

The company stated that its offer was unconditional and remained open for acceptance.

Emerald holds a direct equity ownership in Bullseye of 76.5%.

The firm previously said that its combination with Bullseye provided shareholders an attractive investment opportunity to continue to have exposure to the Eastern Goldfields in a listed entity ready to develop Bullseye’s projects.

It also provides Bullseye shareholders with exposure to gold operations in Cambodia, through Emerald's two-million-tonne-a-year Okvau gold mine.
