Name of the Project
E6 Ranheim-Værnes highway.

Location
The project is located in the Trondheim region of Norway.

Project Owner/s
Nye Veier.

Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 23 km section of highway that will connect the towns of Ranheim and Værnes, in the Trondheim region.

More than 7 km of this new highway will be underground, with three tunnels between 1 km and 4 km long. The route, which also includes eight bridges, will partly follow the old road, with the exception of the tunnels, which will run parallel to the existing ones.

This new infrastructure will increase the number of lanes from two to four, improving mobility between Trondheim and the airport at Værnes, increasing user safety.
