The Dube TradePort Corporation (DTPC) has appointed Saxen van Coller as its new CEO.

“We are pleased to be able to appoint a CEO with the experience and vision to take Dube TradePort to the next level of development.

“These are exciting times for Dube TradePort, and we have no doubt that Van Coller will be able to provide leadership and focus to the strong management team we already have in place – particularly when it comes to her business experience, strong leadership and negotiation skills and understanding of strategy,” DTPC chairperson Dr Bridgette Gasa said on Tuesday.

With expertise in manufacturing, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals and fast-moving consumer-goods, Van Coller was well positioned and looking forward to heading one of KwaZulu-Natal’s flagship economic development projects.

“Dube TradePort forms a key part of the province’s economic growth strategy, and I look forward to ensuring that it continues to play a vital role as the backbone of an efficient, integrated economic development zone for the province,” she commented.
