A magnifying, light emitting diode (LED), rechargeable desk lamp has recently been launched.

The cordless lamp is fitted with a lithium-ion battery and is rechargeable by means of a Universal Serial Bus. It emits a bright white light from its six LED lighting units and offers 60 lumens with three to eight times magnifying capability.

The magnifying lamp is particularly suitable for precision work and its portability is an added benefit.

It has two on/off switches, a manual switch behind the base of the lamp and a touch-control switch at the top on the front of the unit.

A clamp fitting connects to the base and can be attached to a desk or work surface. The base measures 135 mm x 180 mm x 23 mm and is designed for optimum stability.

The magnifying capacity is three to eight times with the use of the large 110 mm lens, it is lit by a cool white light and is powered by a 400 MilliAmp hour rechargeable lithium battery.

The lamp is useful for manufacturers, hobbyists and do-it-yourself enthusiasts in the home, in workshops, or in industrial settings.

The Tork Craft desk lamp is available to customers and retailers from outlets nationwide. It is distributed by Vermont Sales and is backed by a guarantee of 25 000 hours of LED light time.
