Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 250 MW solar energy project. The project will use PV solar technology to generate electricity for the grid. Power generated by the project will support the Arkansas electric grid and is expected to be equivalent to the average consumption of more than 43 400 Arkansas homes.
Potential Job Creation
The project is expected to create hundreds of construction jobs and multiple permanent jobs.
Capital Expenditure
$400-million.
Planned Start/End Date
The project is expected to be completed by 2028.
Latest Developments
Meta and EDPR NA announced a long-term power purchase agreement for the project in May 2026.
