Canadian miner Centerra Gold and the government of Kyrgyzstan have again extended the first longstop date under the strategic agreement for environmental protection and investment promotion – this time to November 2, from August 24.

The date has been pushed out several times since the agreement was entered into on September 11, 2017.

Centerra stated that it continued to work with the government to ensure that the remaining conditions precedent to the completion of the strategic agreement were satisfied. These included the termination of certain legal proceedings and the receipt of finalised land use certificates.
